    New tax scheme will be beneficial for Senior citizens earning beyond 3.5 lakh. Its a meager amount for basic survival. 100 Rs more than this were liable to be taxed. Now upto 500000/- they are free from all harassment earlier they were bound to block 150000/- every year which was daunting for them or they were bound to pay tax.

    Except the senior citizen segment, this budget is very much detrimental to general public. This will affect Insurance business and MF industry. Younger generation will not learn to invest and save for future. What social security govt. will provide to these youngsters.
